Not too long ago rated the ninth best place to live in the nation by U.S. Information & Planet Report, our Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice metro area includes internationally acclaimed beach locations, fantastic parks and character preserves and lots of enjoyable issues to do every weekend such as a vibrant arts scene. For a lot of of us, however, the robust collection of restaurants and bars is also a crucial reason we like this distinct waterfront corner of sunny Florida.

Our celeb cooks involve James Beard nominees Steve Phelps of Indigenous in downtown Sarasota and José Martinez of Maison Blanche on Longboat Vital.

Maison Blanche has also been inducted to Florida Pattern magazine’s venerable Golden Spoon Hall of Fame together with standouts like the not too long ago sold Beach front Bistro on Anna Maria Island and Euphemia Haye on Longboat Critical, also now with a new proprietor.
